Where do I find my x-rays, scans and treatment notes?

Quick answer: In your Dental 99 account, straight after your appointment. They are yours, and you do not need to ask us for them.

Open the app or log in on the web and go to your profile. Everything from each visit is there: x-rays, scans, photos, clinical notes and your treatment history.

Why it works this way

At most practices your records live with the practice. If you want to see your own x-rays you have to request them, wait for someone to process it, and sometimes pay a fee. We think that is the wrong way round. They are records about your body and you should not have to ask permission to look at them.

So there is no request process here, because there is nothing to request. They appear in your account as soon as they are taken.

If something is missing

Records are added once your appointment is completed and the clinician has finished their notes, so allow a little time after your visit. If something is still not showing after that, get in touch and we will chase it up.

Note: If you would like a clinician to explain what an x-ray or a note means, ask us and we will arrange it. We would rather you understood your records than just had access to them.
