I am unhappy with my treatment, what happens now?

Quick answer: Tell us what happened and a member of our team will take it from there. We would much rather hear about it.

That is not the experience we expect anyone to have at Dental 99.

What happens when you raise it

A member of our patient care team will contact you to understand what happened. Depending on what they find, that might mean a review appointment with a clinician, a second opinion from another clinician, or a look at the treatment itself.

We are not going to prejudge the outcome in an article. What we will commit to is that a person reviews it, you get a clear explanation, and you are told what we are going to do about it.

How to raise it

Start a chat with us, or contact the patient care team directly. Tell us what happened in your own words. You do not need to make a formal case of it.

If you are in pain or something feels wrong clinically

Do not wait on a complaint process. Book a Toothache Management appointment or get in touch urgently so a clinician can look at it.

Note: You are also free to seek a second opinion elsewhere at any time, and to take your records with you at no cost. We would rather you were confident in your care than loyal to us.
