How do I claim on my health insurance after my appointment?

Step by step guide to claiming a health fund rebate after a Dental 99 appointment

  1. After your appointment, your invoice is sent by email and appears in the Dental 99 App
  2. Open your health fund's app or website
  3. Submit the itemised invoice and include the treatment item codes listed on it
  4. Your fund will process the rebate - most funds process within a few days

Note: Dental 99 does not process health fund claims in-clinic. There is no HICAPS terminal. All claims are done directly by the patient with their fund.
