Do you offer sedation or sleep dentistry?

Quick answer: Sedation options may be available depending on the treatment and the clinic. Tell us you are anxious and the clinician will talk you through what is possible.

We have deliberately not said yes outright, because what is suitable depends on your medical history, the treatment and the location. Promising something we might not be able to provide would not be fair.

What to do

Note your anxiety in your medical history form and in your appointment notes when you book. The clinician will discuss the options with you at your appointment.

Things that help without sedation

Many patients find they do not need it. See our article on feeling anxious about dental appointments for what else can be arranged, including hand signals to pause, headphones, and having someone with you.

Note: We do not offer general anaesthetic in a hospital setting. If that is what your treatment requires, the clinician will tell you.
