Do you bulk bill, or accept the Child Dental Benefits Schedule?

Quick answer: We do not bulk bill, but we are a Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) provider. You pay for your child's appointment upfront, and we give you an itemised invoice so you can claim a rebate from Medicare.

How it works

1. Check your child is eligible through your Medicare online account (via myGov) or the Express Plus Medicare app.
2. Book and pay for the appointment as normal.
3. Ask us for an itemised invoice for the visit.
4. Submit it through your Medicare online account. Medicare pays the rebate directly to you.

Why we do not bulk bill
Our model is built on one fixed low price for everyone. A Clean and Check Up is $99, so the amount you pay before your rebate comes back is often smaller than you would expect.

Worth knowing
The rebate amount is set by Medicare and depends on your child's remaining CDBS balance, so we cannot tell you the exact figure. CDBS covers eligible children only. Medicare does not generally cover dental treatment for adults.
