What is a dependent, and what can they do?

Quick answer: A dependent is a child under 16 managed under your account. You book their appointments, complete their forms and see their records.

Add a dependent in the Dental 99 App. Once added you can book for them, complete their medical history and allergies, and view their treatment records and x-rays alongside your own.

When they turn 16

They can move to their own account. If you still need to help manage their appointments, you can link accounts, though at that point their clinical records become private to them.

Note: A parent or guardian should be present at appointments for children.
