What do linked accounts do?
Quick answer: They let you book and pay for another adult’s appointments, and transfer account credit to them, while they keep their own private records.
Send a linked account invitation from the app. Once the other person accepts, you can manage bookings and payments for them.
What linking does give you
- Book appointments on their behalf
- Pay for their treatment
- Transfer your account credit to them
What linking does not give you
You cannot see another adult’s medical history, clinical notes, x-rays or treatment records. Their health information stays private to them, which is a requirement under Australian privacy law rather than a setting we could change.
Note: For children under 16, use dependents instead. Dependents work differently and do give you access to their records as their parent or guardian.
