What data do you keep, and can I delete my account?

Quick answer: We keep what we need to look after you properly, all of it visible to you in your account. Some of it we are legally required to keep.

What we hold

Your contact and account details, medical history and allergies, appointment history, clinical notes and imaging, and your invoices and receipts. There is nothing on that list you cannot see yourself in your profile.

Closing your account

You can ask us to close your account and stop contacting you at any time. Get in touch and we will action it.

Why clinical records are different

Health practitioners in Australia are legally required to retain clinical records for a set period, so we cannot delete your treatment history on request even where we would like to accommodate you. In practice that means your records are retained but no longer used to contact you, and access is limited to the purposes the law requires.

Your privacy rights

You have the right to see the personal information we hold about you and to have inaccurate information corrected. Most of that you can do yourself in your profile. Anything you cannot, get in touch and we will help.
