I am nervous about what a dentist is going to cost me
Quick answer: You will know the price before you book, and nothing gets added afterwards. That is the reason we work the way we do.
A lot of people avoid the dentist because they have no idea what the bill will be. It is a reasonable worry. Most practices cannot tell you until after they have looked.
With us you choose the appointment, you see the price, you pay that price. There is nothing to settle on the day and no invoice afterwards.
If you need more than you booked
Part of the job is assessing what is actually going on, so sometimes a clinician will recommend treatment beyond what you booked. If that happens, they will talk you through it in the chair, and you will get a clear prescription in your app showing exactly what each item costs. Nothing goes ahead until you have seen the price and accepted it.
So, if you come in for a $99 Check Up and Clean, that is $99. If your clinician also recommends a filling at $149, you will know that before any work starts, and it is your call.
The cheapest way to find out where you stand
A Checkup and Clean is $99. That is one fixed price for a full examination, a professional scale and clean, and any x-rays your clinician needs to take. You walk out knowing what treatment you need, if any, and what it would cost. For a lot of people, that turns out to be less than they had feared.
Note: If money rather than uncertainty is the barrier, see our article on options for spreading the cost.
