# How long will my appointment take?

**Quick answer:** A Clean and Check Up is typically around 30 minutes. Other appointments vary by treatment.

The length is shown when you book, so you can plan around it. Please arrive a couple of minutes before your appointment to get settled in the practice.

**Note:** If you are going to be late, see our article on running late. Letting us know as early as possible gives us the best chance of still seeing you.
